Webinar Overview
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) mandates a shift from isolated consent practices to organization-wide consent management. It requires clear, explicit, purpose-specific, and revocable consent for personal data processing. All functions: IT, legal, sales, and marketing must align on consent governance. For sales and marketing, customer engagement must be strictly based on valid, recorded consent. Implied consent and broad data usage are no longer acceptable. Organizations must ensure transparency, opt-out mechanisms, and consent traceability. DPDPA ultimately promotes trust-driven and compliant customer engagement.
