Hello Friends,

The winter session of the Indian Parliament is fast approaching. The month-long Winter session of Parliament is likely to commence from November 29 following all Covid-19 protocols, Parliamentary sources said. The session, which is likely to have around 20 sittings, would conclude ahead of Christmas.

It is also speculated that the Joint Parliamentary committee’s much-delayed draft report on India Personal Data Protection Bill could find approval on November 22 ahead of the Winter session.  Furthermore, the PDP Bill is likely to be tabled in the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament.

If the bill gets passed in the Winter Session, the next year will be a very busy one for organizations trying to comply with the requirements of the Indian PDP Bill.
